A healthy and fulfilling life is beyond the body alone. Wellness is more than being free from pain and illness: it is a process of change and growth towards a mentally and physically healthy lifestyle. The key word is process, which takes trust and patience. Understanding our place in the uncertain and changing world begins with trusting our minds and inhabiting our bodies.
Living in a human body requires presence and reverence. Everything we feel, think, and do relates to our well-being and directly affects our actions and emotions. In order to subdue stress and reduce pain and illness, we must understand this body. Knowing the difference between functional and dysfunctional movement is the key to presence and reverence.
To achieve optimal wellness, we must apply these keys towards every possible endeavor. When we apply this wellness approach towards your environment, community, belief systems, and movement. Everyday embodiment invites the hallmarks of wellness -- purpose, meaning, and contribution -- so that we can thrive personally and collectively.
